Although Selma Blair has not had quite as many credits to her name as the actors and actresses she has previously costarred with, like Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Reese Witherspoon, Blair has earned quite a name for herself. She costarred in the Columbia feature film "Cruel Intentions", a hip, more nasty- mouthed version of the famous French book, "Les Liasons Dangereuses." This update, rated R due to sexual content and objectionable language, is set in a New York apartment that would probably cost $3 million! Blair plays the young, naive Cecile Caldwell, who brings on pitied laughter for her ad-libbed antics.
