David Moscow plays the lovable Duncan Milch on
Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane. Acting the part must come easy to
Moscow, who knows where to find Duncan's sense if charisma and
playfulness. "Duncan is exactly like my little brother. He just loves
people, but he has his own theories and lives in his own world. He is
very confident about these theories, and this world of his, which is
his saving grace and also what makes him so funny," the current Los
Angeles resident says.
Moscow, born November 14 and raised in the Bronx
in New York City, first showed interest in show business when he and a
group of friends showed up for a neighborhood casting call for the
Jodie Foster move, "Five Corner." Although he didn't get the part,
Moscow ended up with an agent and made his acting debut on the big
screen in Penny Marshall's comedy smash, "Big." At age 11, Moscow
played the young Tom Hanks character.
Since then, David Moscow has worked in the Walt
Disney musical "Newsies," which he devoted six months of singing and
dancing lessons to. He also took part in the independent film, the
drama "Hurricane Streets", which brought on tons of acclaim at the
Sundance Film Festival in 1997.
So far, Moscow has also participated in many more
independent films. These include "Loving Jezebel", "Restaurant", "River
Red", costarring Tom Everett Scott (An American Werewolf in
Paris), and "Girl", with Selma Blair.
Other than Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane, he has
spent some time working with the silver screen. He also spent time
performing in Broadway's "What's Wrong With This Picture," and more
productions with the Manhattan Class Company.
When he's not rehearsing his lines for his part as
Duncan, David Moscow spends time studying for his BA in English Lit.
from Columbia University. He also invests time in football, basketball,
travel, read, going to the movies, and spending time with nature.
