Online Host: We are LIVE with the cast of "Cruel Intentions!"

Question: Reese, what attracted you to your role in Cruel Intentions?

Reese Witherspoon: It was great to take a classic book and adapt it to modern life.

Online Host: This is the fourth adaptation of the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Reese Witherspoon: It is set in Manhattan.

Question: Out of all the characters you've played who do you resemble the most personally?

Online Host: The cast are laughing it up on the couch.

Question: What's the cruelest thing you ever did to anyone in high school?

Cruel Intentions Cast: I was an angel in high school I worked out the kinks pretty young, in fourth grade.

Question: Who has inspired you the most in your life, and if you were a Spice Girl, which would be fit your personality?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: All Right! I would be Buffy Spice.

Online Host: Director Roger Kumble has said, "Kids are vicious in high school."

Sarah Michelle Gellar: I am just a lot like her.

Question: What are you studying at Stanford?

Reese Witherspoon: Was studying literature but I am no longer there.

Question: Selma, Since you have some intimate scenes in the movie, is there a line you would not cross?

Selma Blair: No. Any of these guys would be worth crossing the line for. I don't set any limits.

Online Host: Ryan's glasses look great, don't they?

Question: How important was it for you to find a role different from Buff?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: It was very important to me. But I am an actress and I can play different things.

Question: Did you get a thrill doing things in real life that you wouldn't normally do?

Cruel Intentions Cast: A little bit.

Online Host: Michelle said this was the first script she read for her break.

Question: Do you think making movies or making a TV show is more fun?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: A movie is very different. It is good to have the security of a ninth month job on TV.

Question: Sarah and Ryan, do you all like playing bad characters?

Ryan Phillipe: I had the most fun, I am kind of theatrical.

Online Host: Hey, we're chatting with Sarah and Reese and Ryan and Selma. How much fun must it have been for all these folks working together. You might recognize some of the movies other actors, too.

Question: Being boyfriend and girlfriend, what was it like working together?

Ryan Phillippe: It was really amazing... I was really happy to do the "I love you scenes" because I love her! Reese Witherspoon: It turned out very well. It showed our relationship on screen. We would come home in the middle of the night and talk about our scenes.

Ryan and Reese: We tried. We support each other and advise each other.

Question: How romantic is that?

Question: Dazzle39: I'm a huge fan of everybody, did the 4 of you get along?

Cruel Intentions Cast: I think it was so great to work with each other. Everyone was so professional. We had a really great time. It was nice to let it go and goof with each other. Ryan had to do a lot of love scenes with these girls.

Question: Will you work together again?

Cruel Intentions Cast: It depends on how much money there is. We have this comfort level that was pre-established. There is a lot of emotion in there. Ryan: We had a couple of scenes that were like 11 pages long. And we were just sitting there talking...it was great.

Question: How does it feel to be the most desirable boy at the moment?

Ryan Phillippe: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....wow.
Ryan: God, I don't even know how to answer that. LOL THANK YOU, Norway!

Reese: I think it's wonderful and it's great.

Question: As Ryan becomes more and more the heartthrob, how does that affect you?

Reese Witherspoon: I get to go on the Internet and see what's going on.

Question: Margo114: Which actor has inspired you he most?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: You know, I think every good actress is inspiring.

Question: Considering what role models you are, how do you feel about the message the sexual content is sending?

Cruel Intentions Cast: I look at it that sex has become war. You can climb up the ladder and knock people off with that. You can have emotion and have sex. It's a good message.... Not to take all the emotion out of sexuality. There was a real struggle with the script to make sure the character was not stripped of her virtue.

Ryan: I feel there is some levity in this film. It's an important element of this film. Almost like a comic book character... and it's important. This film has been around much longer than when Roger told it. People can use their imaginations...it definitely is not 1001 Dalmatians. It's about deceit and love and betrayal.

Online Host: Does Hollywood train you well?

Cruel Intentions Cast: Hollywood is a pretty good town. It's been pretty wonderful.

Question: Selma--How many takes did the kissing scene take?

Selma Blair: I don't know. There was many more than we probably needed. That was upon Sarah's insistence. It was one good day at work! I don't remember the exact number.

Question: Who is your biggest influence?

Ryan Phillippe: Professionally or personally. I think my Grandfather was my great influence. He was just a great man!

Question: Reese, what is your dream role?

Reese Witherspoon: That's so hard because I've gotten so many great opportunities in the last few years.

Question: Selma, since you are in your mid twenties, what's it like playing all these young roles?

Selma Blair: I take my vitamins. I don't know, I'm an actress. The writers actually do the work for me. I just kind of get into the characters. It's been easy and a comfort for me.

Question: Can you give us any scoop from the TV show?

Selma Blair: We all die! LOL Oh whatever. It's a big accident. LOL

Question: Is there any truth to you starring in the X-Men movie?

Selma Blair: I heard that also recently. Isn't that kewl? I read that recently in a magazine. I would love to take a look at it.

Question: Reese: If there was anyone in the world, who would you have dinner with?

Reese Witherspoon: Oh my gawd! What a heavy question, Jessica Lange has set such a great example.

Question: Who's a better kisser Selma, David Boreanaz?

Selma Blair: LOL :: giggle :: :: blush ::

Question: What else would you do besides acting?

Ryan Phillippe: Literature. I'd like to write something eventually someday. I'd like to be a teacher someday.

Question: Do you ever feel you've done so much at so young?

Cruel Intentions Cast: I think you have to go back and realize how amazing it is. It's such an amazing job because you get to do so much.

Question: What was the first concert you ever went to?

Ryan Phillippe: I went to LIVE AID! I remember Black Sabbath.

Question: Sarah: Any truth to a Buffy movie rumor?

Sarah Michelle Gellar: Not anytime soon. Until I saw a script and saw that it would do the show justice I wouldn't do it.

Question: Selma, what was it like to kiss Sarah.

Selma Blair: It was very, very good. Let's not go on and on about it.

Question: Do you get nude in Cruel Intentions?

Selma Blair: No. I don't get nude and somebody does, and I can't say who.
