Michael_Rosenbaum: on stage.

Michael_Rosenbaum: I was always trying to get accepted in high school like

Michael_Rosenbaum: cheesy, lovable, etc. etc....

gigigi: How much are you like your character, Jack?

Michael_Rosenbaum: I'm not as cocky, I'm half as self-indulged

Michael_Rosenbaum: definitely lovable, and a little cheesy at times -

Michael_Rosenbaum: I get a little embarrassed, a little red in the face.

gmg123: What's the weirdest thing a fan has done?

Michael_Rosenbaum: A woman at Staples recently came up to me and

Michael_Rosenbaum: quoted a line from an episode I had said,

Michael_Rosenbaum: I had said, "Me like!"

Michael_Rosenbaum: Then in Staples, she came up to me and said,

Michael_Rosenbaum: "Me like!"

Michael_Rosenbaum: I said, "Me scared."

Michael_Rosenbaum: But it was very amusing and she said she was a big fan.

amy: Hey it's amy wruble & maddie hammond from nyc saying hi

Michael_Rosenbaum: Howdy!

Michael_Rosenbaum: I love New York!

Michael_Rosenbaum: It's the best city in the world.

Michael_Rosenbaum: I miss it. Go see a Ranger game for me!

Michael_Rosenbaum: I auditioned for a part in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"

Michael_Rosenbaum: and after that I started getting attention in the industry.

Michael_Rosenbaum: I don't know if that was my "big break,"

Michael_Rosenbaum: but "Zoe" is probably my biggest break to date.

Michael_Rosenbaum: If that answers your question.

Moderator: What was it like working with Clint Eastwood?

Michael_Rosenbaum: It was awesome. I don't know another adjective to describe

Michael_Rosenbaum: Clint Eastwood other than "awesome."

Michael_Rosenbaum: An amazing individual.

Michael_Rosenbaum: It was numbing,

Michael_Rosenbaum: I mean, I worked with Dirty Harry!!!

chica_boricua: hi from my little island of Puerto Rico

chica_boricua: are u married or were or do u have a girlfriend?

Michael_Rosenbaum: No. No. And a big NO!

Michael_Rosenbaum: Why?

Michael_Rosenbaum: I still have those shoes.

Michael_Rosenbaum: Who's this?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Speak! Come forward, you!

mmmbbb: Michael, I love your work on Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane!! How long did it take for you to get the part of Jack?

Michael_Rosenbaum: I was actually friends with David Moscow who plays "Duncan."

Michael_Rosenbaum: I saw him walking down the street while I was driving

Michael_Rosenbaum: and I yelled "David" and he saw me and said "Mike" and hopped in my van.

Michael_Rosenbaum: And I asked him what he was doing

Michael_Rosenbaum: and he said he was testing for "Zoe Bean"

Michael_Rosenbaum: and I thought he said "Soy Bean."

Michael_Rosenbaum: A long, hard ... week.

abc123: Do you and the other actors on Z,D,J & J play pranks on each other?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Oh...yes, yes, indeed.

Michael_Rosenbaum: In fact, Selma Blair, Zoe, likes to put bubble gum in my orange juice in the morning

Michael_Rosenbaum: and watch me drink it to the bottom

Michael_Rosenbaum: while she sits in the corner giggling,

Michael_Rosenbaum: resembling Linda Blair in "The Exorcist" with that demonic look of joy.

Michael_Rosenbaum: So, yes, yes, we do.

markh44: This is cool and the show is great! What's the hardest part about being an actor?

Michael_Rosenbaum: No matter how much you try to deal with it, rejection is never fun.

Michael_Rosenbaum: Whether you're an actor or asking a girl on a date, rejection's no fun.

Michael_Rosenbaum: Being broke can suck!

zdjjfreak: Do people recognize you walking down the street?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Occasionally.

Michael_Rosenbaum: Recently yes, but I always tell them I'm not David Duchnovy...

Michael_Rosenbaum: They know I'm a freak.

themichaelman: Is working in Hollywood really as cutthroat as everyone says?

Michael_Rosenbaum: It is if you let it get to you.

Michael_Rosenbaum: not go out too much, take everything with a grain of salt,

Michael_Rosenbaum: just like life.

lisdulink: Did you have any weird odd jobs while supporting your acting career?

Michael_Rosenbaum: I worked in telemarketing

jackfan: Didn't you used to be on the Conan O'Brien show?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Yes! I was a reoccurring character known as the Amsterdam Kid about 3 years ago.

Michael_Rosenbaum: I did it for about 4 or 5 months.

Michael_Rosenbaum: That was actually one of my big breaks on national television.

Michael_Rosenbaum: I thought it was huge.

Michael_Rosenbaum: But in those days nobody watched Conan O'Brien.

Michael_Rosenbaum: Now they do, so Conan, if you're out there…

Michael_Rosenbaum: ha ha!

riffkitten8: Are you interested in other careers in tv /film, like directing, etc.?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Absolutely. I'm writing a screenplay now.

Michael_Rosenbaum: My whole life I've been really creative. I don't think I could stop at acting

Michael_Rosenbaum: although I should probably concentrate on it now,

Michael_Rosenbaum: wait until I'm successful, really successful,

Michael_Rosenbaum: and then delve into other aspects of the entertainment industry.

Michael_Rosenbaum: But to answer your question, Yes.

mbfan: What advice would you give someone trying to get into acting?

Michael_Rosenbaum: Suck it in!

Michael_Rosenbaum: It's all perseverance,
